While stilettos and pumps give you posture, there is something about sneakers that makes them a favorite of every man, woman and child. High heels make you look sexy, but they also give you sore ankles. On the other hand, not only do sneakers look cool, they are also utterly comfortable. White sneakers are the coolest thing this season. If you want to be a part of the fashion bandwagon, put your money in a pair of white sneakers. If you are not too high on white, you can pick up a pair of sneakers in any colour. Here is why you should invest in a good pair of sneakers.

1. Well, sneakers look good with just about anything and since they are in fashion now, they can be teamed with any outfit to up the style quotient. From jeans to shorts and skirts, a comfy pair of sneakers will instantly add a contemporary touch to your outfit. What’s more, these can now be even paired with suits. Gone are the days when sneakers were used only for running. These days, sneakers are to be worn with anything and everything.

2. The best part about sneakers is that you don’t have to be a certain age to be able to wear them. There are certain shoes (Red high heels and stilettos) which look good on people of a certain age. Sneakers work well for just about everyone.

3. There is nothing more comfortable than a pair of sneakers. We know women who are unwilling to trade their pair for anything. This is precisely because sneakers are cosy. One can literally run in them all day without hurting their feet. A good pair of sneakers means you will go to your bed without any pain in your legs at the end of the day.

4. Sneakers make a good investment as they are something that will never go out of style. They have been in vogue ever since I remember and they will be in vogue for years to come. Women buy shoes that are expensive and which can be worn for only two years because they go out of fashion with a snap of a finger. This is not the case with sneakers — they are here to stay.

5. You should buy yourself a pair of sneakers because you won’t have to practice a walk. Stilettos are beautiful and so are pumps, but I had to practice for almost a month before I could even stand in them. This is not the case with sneakers — walking in sneakers is like walking in a pair of flip flops. It comes naturally to everyone.

6. Since sneakers cover your entire feet, they actually protect your skin against damage. A sneaker should be your best friend especially during the summers when sun’s hard rays are capable of leaving your feet tanned and ugly. Wear sneakers as often as possible if you want your feet to stay beautiful forever.

7. Last, you should buy sneakers because they look absolutely cool in photographs. They make the perfect accessory for a shoe selfie.
